We're working exclusively with a leading manufacturer of chemical adhesives and coatings, who are looking for an experienced and driven Plant Manager to lead their production operations and support our continued growth. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the plant and ensuring that the highest possible output standards are maintained.
What You'll Do
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are metLead, develop, and motivate a small, skilled production teamChampion continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and qualityFoster a culture of teamwork, trust, and high performanceEnsure compliance with health & safety and quality standards

Smart4Chemicals are currently looking for a QC Analyst to join a leading polymer manufacturer in the Northwest of Lancashire on a temporary basis.
To be considered for the role of QC Analyst you will either have previous experience in testing of a variety of materials or be degree/HNC educated in chemistry. No previous experience required as all training will be provided.
As a QC Analyst you will be responsible for routine testing of materials within the testing lab on a daily basis.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate in chemistry looking for their first role, or for someone looking to get back into the industry in a technical capacity.
Role requirements
Ideally HNC educated as a minimum in chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials science or a closely related subject.Any previous experience in working in a QC Lab highly desirable.Strong understanding of polymers also highly desirable.Role responsibilities
